Hello & Welcome, I'm Jos.
My husband & I met at a local coffee shop on the hillside slopes of Duluth and we have been here ever since. Both of us Minnesota born and raised, we settled down next to the Great Lake and all it's humble beauty //​
Photos are a full stop, a pause, a deep breath in the constant rush of life. It's a moment to hold your family tight, hang on to the feeling before walking down the aisle, and freeze time before they back up the car for college. I pursue photos that feel like rosy cheeks after a brisk walk, a hug from grandpa, a good pair of Levi jeans, waves crashing under a lighthouse, & a sip of coffee at daybreak. Slow. Unhurried. Genuine.
It all started with my dad.....
My adoration for photography began primarily with an adoration for my dad. His capacity for recording moments never ceased. He instilled a love in me for pausing time inside a picture. He gave me my first point & shoot with a floppy disk and so ensued many years of trying to capture things the way he always did so well.
